The major vendors include Graeme McCulloch’s Grenville Stud at Whitemore with 40 lots, the Whishaw’s family ‘s Armidale Stud with 37 Lots, and Barry Stewart’s Brooklyn Park with a draft of 14 lots, are being prepared by Barry Baker, a very good horseman.

Yearlings by first season sires are always interesting, in particular Headwater, he was a brilliant racehorse by Exeed and Excel, he has two yearlings in the sale, a colt, lot 60, is out of a Lonhro mare, while the filly is from Phyl’s Choice, she won 3 races and showed a lot of pace.
Star Witness has proved a very successful sire at Widden, he has two fillies, lot 62 is out of Leica Forward, this is a proven family, she will be among the top lots, two dams on the page is enough.
The second filly from Redbougg, a bit short on pedigree but may have an advantage as the dam won 5 races.
A lot of interest is sure to be shown in lot 28 a filly by by Better Than Ready, he is currently the leading first season sire nationally.
He is located on the Darling Downs at Lynhurst Stud; he is a magnificent horse and is leaving quality horses, this filly will be much sought after.
Magnus is represented by three lots, a filly and two colts, lot 24 the colt out of Ecosse by West Guest, she is a winning mare, lot 46 is soundly bred, Ll Sogno won twice, the second dam, Tickle My by Perugino, won 11 races, most at Group level, it is a proven family, the filly has a double cross of Danehill.
