All Too Hard double at Wyong

All Too Hard is making up for lost time with a winning double at Wyong, when All Too Huiying won a Maiden over 1600 metres, and Groundbreak scored at 1350 metres.

There is no surprise concerning All Too Hard, all the good judges predicted he would be much better off with his second season crop, and that is coming to fruition, that was the pattern when he raced.

All Too Hard sired 11 winners in his first season, and is well on target for his second season, with 17 winners to date.

All Too Hard celebrates in style

Darhad became the eighth individual winner this season for his sire, All Too Hard, when he won at Hawkesbury on Thursday.

He almost had a winner at Flemington when Eclair Sunshine beat all but the boom colt Royal Symphony.

That was an outstanding performance, to be beaten by the best three year old colt in Australia

All Too Hard leads the Australia’s second season sires list with prizemoney earnings of $340,000 this season.

He has become the pace setter ahead of Your Song, Golden Archer, Bullet Train, Reliable Man ,Dalakhani, Barbados, and Pierro.

Black Type is awaiting the unbeaten Superhard when he runs at Caulfield tomorrow, and Lincoln Hills, at Hastings in New Zealand.

All Too Hard firing up

Within the first few days of the new racing season, All Too Hard is surely making his presence felt, siring a double when Super Hard won at Sandown, and All Come True made it a double for the week, scoring at Seymour.

Both fillies are trained at Caulfield by Robert Smerdon, All Too Hard’s first crop of foals have produced 11 winners, with two being stakes winners, Smerdon is being patient, he is taking his time, thus is now reaping the rewards

In fact it was the second win for Super Hard; he saluted at Sandown after having won previously at Pakenham.

Patience may be the formula for All Too Hard, while he was a good two year old; he won the Talindert Stakes and the Sires Produce Stakes, both races at Flemington.

Whatever All Too Hard would do at two, it was certain he would do better at three, it was a stellar season for the Hawkes team, the Orr Stakes, Caulfield Guineas, defeating Pierro, and finishing ahead of him again, while still maturing and beating all but Ocean Park in the Cox Plate.

He came back in the autumn as if he had never been away, and a great autumn followed, winning the Futurity and the time honoured All Aged Stakes, as his grand sire, Flying Spur did.

All Too Hard has the ideal formula to attract breeders, he has an excellent pedigree, most importantly he has never been over used with racing, just the 12 starts, winning 7 times in major races, 4 at Group 1 level, and only out of the money twice.

His pedigree can hardly be questioned, being a half brother to Black Caviar, and being closely related to Magnus and Wilander.

His first of his foals are now three, they have not been over raced, they are now three and likely to emulate their sire.

Four winners in three days, and seven winners in the new season, speaks well for All Too Hard, who is going places .

Star Turn Joins Vinery

Star Turn is the latest edition to join the stallion ranks at Vinery a brilliant three year old with an explosive turn of foot that was clearly demonstrated in his swan song in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley.

He was not over burdened with racing having just the 12 starts winning three times and only out of a place three times.

There no question about his physique he is a high quality thoroughbred a striking chestnut beautifully marked he is a real eye catcher.

He looks certain to get quality horses that should be well endowed with pace to compliment his foals both sides of his pedigree is well endowed with speed.

His sire Star Witness came under notice when he won the Goup1 Blue Diamond Stakes and just to prove it was no fluke he also won the Talindert Stakes in that autumn.
