The Magic Millions will go into full swing on Monday January 8 for the first of five days of selling.
This is a strong catalogue with a good international flavour, with a strong influence on speed that is the way investors are heading; they want at least a reasonable return instead of promises.
Two year old racing has become very popular with syndicators; people are looking for a quick return with new people coming into racing.
American Pharoah is an interesting inclusion in the sale, he is a American Triple Crown Champion, winning the Kentucky Derby, Breeders Cup and the Preakness Stakes, he has 27 lots in the sale. i
It is quite interesting the number of entires that were covered as three year olds and have yearlings in the Magic Millions Sales, the busiest was Capitalist, he was the Golden Slipper winner with 44, Flying Artie 21, Winning Rupert 18, Extreme Choice 16 and Star Turn 15.
