Fighting Sun is showing the way as the only Victorian based sire on the first season’s sire’s list, he is 7^th on the list of 10, with 5 winners, including Chess Star, a stakes winner at Flemington.

He had untapped potential when he blitzed his rivals twice at Rosehill over 1100 metres, and was nominal favourite for forthcoming Golden Slipper Stakes when he suffered an injury that forced him from, potentially, a brilliant racing career.

Of course that has not affected his breeding career in the least, he was unbeaten as a racehorse and he is getting winners from his first crop to race, it is a very impressive record, the future is looking good for him.

Chess Star is his first Stakes Winner, Platinum Mam’selle 3^rd Group 3 in New Zealand, Naduri, Miss Scorcher, Sunfighter and Fighting Harada are all winners.
