Sun Stud Appoints Manager
David Grant, who has a wealth of experience in the bloodstock industry, has been appointed as operations manager at Sun Stud.
He has all the skills required, having spent three years at the Irish National Stud, besides being stud manager at Devon Park and Emirates Park, in Victoria.
David is a natural for this position, Sun Stud’s Managing Director, Danielle Cheng, enthused.
“He has a wealth of experience in every facet of the industry, and importantly he is a great networker, familiar with our clients, both in Victoria and Queensland, “she said.
David is a very competent horseman, during his stint at the Irish National Stud he looked after Indian Ridge, whose opening service fee was 2,000 Euros, finally reaching 60,000 Euros.
At the same time Invincible Spirit was also at the Irish National Stud, he sired 1188 runners, of 832 were winners, including 96 Stakes winners, and sire sensation, Zebedee.
His brother, Michael, trains in Perth where he prepared Catsfun, winner of the 2006 West Australian Derby
