A weaner filly offered by Kitchwin Hills stole the show when she was knocked down for $600,000 at this week’s Sydney Sales.

Even the vendor was shocked, he didn’t think he would top the sale, however the bidding was spirited, she is going to make into a lovely yearling, but whether she would be pinned hooked is most unlikely .

She was listed as lot 104, the foal was by the all conquering sire, I Am Invincible, the second foal of her dam, Srikandi, won nine races, five in succession, including the Stradbroke Handicap.

Three dams on the catalogue page had produced 47 winners, we will be awaiting Srikandi first foal, a yearling will be most interesting.
