St Leger One Act Affair
Order Of The Sun made a one act affair of the St Leger to the point it was nothing more than a procession with the winner strolling in by seven lengths.
The only time anything got near to the winner was when the horses were returning to scale; otherwise it was a lack lustre affair.
Order Of The Sun’s record was not all that flash preparatory to the race but proved classes above those that he opposed in St Leger.
Chad Schofield rode a masterly race, he is simply brilliant on a front runner, he allows his mounts to find their natural rhythm, he is a very good rider for one so young.
The South Australian Derby looks the logical race now, set weights as was the St Leger, the only problem in Adelaide is there will need to be a change of rider as Chad Schofield will be under suspension.
When Gai Waterhouse sets a horse for any particular race she is never far astray, she is a great conditioner, her horses are hard fit, she does not do anything by half measures.
Order Of The Sun is raced by Sun Bloodstock Pty Ltd, the company is putting together a nice group of horses and are enjoying success.
