Nordic Empire has booked his passage for the Magic Millions next month after a stylish win at Caulfield yesterday.

Word was about that the colt had a bit on his stable mate Geromayo who had finished second in the Magic Millions Classic at Ballarat.

That was vindicated when Nordic Empire made a one act affair of the race coming from mid field on the home turn to win running away.

The win completed a training for Mick Price he seldom misses out on a winner at Caulfield he has an excellent strike rate at “The Heath”

Both Nordic Empire and Geromayo will go to Wyong for the Millions on December 19 it will be further experience racing to the clockwise direction before their mission the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast.

Nordic Empire was a $75,000 purchase at the Adelaide Magic Millions Sale he is by Wilander who promised so much as a sire when he went to Lindsay Park an outstanding pedigree an excellent book of matrons to service but alas it was just not to happen.

A low sperm count was the deciding factor a horse with such great prospects was a failure he was no longer a commercial venture he was withdrawn from service after one season.
