Miracles Of Life -- No Myth
There is no myth about Miracles Of Life, she is the real deal, you can be assured of that, after blowing her rivals away in the fillies division of the Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes Preview.
It looked as if this was going to be another jumped up reputation that was going astray, when she settled back in the middle of the field after Donna Madeira came across quickly from the outside, setting up a cracking pace.
The race looked made for Montsegur who had drawn the rails, and remained there, being the best backed runner outside of the favourite, Miracles Of Life.
Once the straight was entered it soon developed into a one act affair, Miracles Of Life carried too many guns for her opposition, it developed into a complete demolition job.
It is extremely doubtful if any of those fillies, that finished behnd her in the Preview, would bother her, certainly not in this preparation.
Miracles Of Life - Adelaide's Flyer
There was quite some speculation earlier in the week if winning jockey, Lauren Stojakovic, would retain the ride on the dazzling filly.
Just about every jockey’s agent in Melbourne was phoning up trainer Daniel Clarken, looking for the ride on behalf of their client.
Ultimately common sense prevailed with the Serbian born rider, Lauren Stojakovic, retaining the ride, she did nothing wrong in winning both races in Adelaide on the filly, Miracles Of Life, and did nothing wrong at Caulfield either.
It would have been a tragedy had she lost the ride to the more fashionable rider, who couldn’t have ridden the filly any better, and what’s the point in breaking a winning combination? As quoted by Racingtopics earlier last week.
That win was the highlight of her career, a moment she will never forget, she was free of post race nerves, just waiting in the jockey’s room for the word to go out and mount.
For Daniel Clarken, who trains at Morphettville, it was also a big occasion with the favourite for a $1million race.
